NOTICE TO BIDDERS

Sealed proposals addressed to the Mayor and City Council of Cumberland, Maryland will be received at the Office of the City Clerk, City Hall, until but not after 2:00 p.m., local time, on 9/27/2023.  Proposals will be publicly opened and read at 2:30 p.m. on that date in City Hall Council Chambers.  All proposals must be submitted in duplicate in a sealed envelope, plainly marked on the outside thereof,

WRF & WFP NO.2 HEATING OIL FY24
 CITY PROJECT NO. 2023-19-UTIL

Replace the following text with the project description

This project involves the bulk delivery and loading of fuel storage tanks of No.2 Heating Oil at any and all of the following locations within Allegany County, MD, and Bedford County, PA:

• Wastewater Reclamation Facility (WRF) – 400 East Offutt Street Ext, Cumberland, MD
• Cumberland Water Treatment Plant (WFP) – Lake Gordon Road, Bedford, PA

A Performance Bond and Payment Bond in the full amount of the accepted bid will be required of the successful bidder.  A Bond or Certified Check in the amount of 5% of the total bid shall be submitted with each bid.

The Mayor and City Council reserve the right to waive any technicalities and to reject any or all proposals, and to accept any or all proposals which in their judgment is to the best interest of the City.
