NOTICE TO BIDDERS

Sealed proposals addressed to Robert Smith, PE, Director of Engineering, will be received at the Office of the City Clerk, City Hall, Cumberland, Maryland 21502, until but not after 2:00 p.m., local time, on 8/10/2022.  Proposals will not be publicly opened and read. Proposals will be opened in the Engineering Offices and evaluated. All proposals must be submitted in duplicate, including a digital copy on a thumb drive, in a sealed envelope, plainly marked on the outside thereof,

 

WATER RECLAMATION FACILITY & WATER FILTRATION PLANT NO. 2 HEATING OIL
 
CITY PROJECT NO. 2022-17-UTIL

This bid involves the bulk delivery and loading of fuel storage tanks at any and all of the following locations within Allegany County, MD, and Bedford County, PA:

  • Wastewater Reclamation Facility (WRF) – 400 East Offutt Street Ext, Cumberland, MD
  • Cumberland Water Treatment Plant (WFP) – Lake Gordon Road, Bedford, PA

A Performance Bond and Payment Bond in the full amount of the accepted bid will be required of the successful bidder.  A Bond or Certified Check in the amount of 5% of the total bid shall be submitted with each bid.

The Mayor and City Council reserve the right to waive any technicalities and to reject any or all proposals, and to accept any or all proposals which in their judgment is to the best interest of the City.
