NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN THAT an extension of time for the submission of sealed bids for the design, engineering, and installation of park and public facilities signage has been designated. Sealed bids will now be received at the City of Cumberland, City Clerk’s Office, 57 N. Liberty Street, Cumberland, MD 21502, until but not after 2:00 PM, local time, on May 3, 2023. Bids will be publicly opened and read at 2:30 PM on that date in the Council Chambers at City Hall. All bids must be submitted in duplicate in a sealed envelope, plainly marked on the outside thereof, “Bid for 2023 Park & Public Facilities Signage.”
MANDATORY PRE-BID MEETING – an additional mandatory pre-bid meeting will be held April 19, 2023, at 10:00 a.m. at the Craft House located in Constitution Park for the purpose of answering or obtaining answers to questions of parties interested in performing the work.
REQUESTS FOR INFORMATION - The deadline for requests for information has been extended to April 26, 2023.

The Mayor and City Council of Cumberland reserves the right to waive any informality and to reject any or all bids, and to accept any or all bids or parts thereof which in their judgment is in the best interest of the City.
