The City’s public buildings, including City Hall, the Public Service Building, the Service Center and the Wastewater Treatment Plant have been experiencing an extended phone outage affecting all phones in these facilities.
The vendor continues to work with the power company to restore services which have been impacted by a fiber outage. At this time, the vendor has escalated our outage to the highest level, but it is unknown how long it will be until the issue will be resolved.
In the interim, please utilize alternate sources if you need to contact one of these locations. Other forms of communication include:
Citizens needing to making payments for Utility Bills, Taxes and Parking Tickets can make an online payment by utilizing the instructions found here: https://www.cumberlandmd.gov/131/Online-Payments.
Payments can also be accepted through any of these alternatives:
- Placed in the drop box outside City Hall, 1st floor
- Drive-by drop box at Chamber of Commerce Bell Tower in City Hall plaza
- Mailed to 57 N. Liberty Street, Cumberland, MD 21502
