[ARCHIVED] The City of Cumberland Parks and Recreation Department Hosting Easter Egg Hunt at Constitution Park

The City of Cumberland Parks and Recreation Department, alongside members of the older 4H Youth of Allegany County and adult leaders, will be hosting the annual Easter Egg Hunt at Constitution Park, Pavilions 1 & 2, on Friday, April 15, 2022 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM.

The event is open to children ages 12 years and younger. There will be numerous activities including arts & crafts, a petting zoo sponsored by the 4H "Hare Raiser" Club and a visit by the Easter Bunny.

For the egg hunt, participants will be divided into four age groups as follows: 3 years and under, 4-5 years old, 6-8 years old, and 9-12 years old.

Participants are reminded to bring a basket or bag to collect their Easter eggs. Special prize eggs, donated by local businesses, organizations and supporters of the annual event, will be awarded to winners within each age group.

The Easter Bunny will also be making a special guest appearance to pose for photos with the participants, using your own phone or camera to record the special moment.

Additional updates will be posted on the City’s Facebook page (https://www.facebook.com/cityofcumberlandmd).
