The City of Cumberland, in partnership with the Cumberland Economic Development Corporation, will hold a special livestream event on Tuesday, March 23, 2021, at 10:00 a.m., in which the Baltimore Street Redevelopment Project will be discussed and the final artist renderings will be shared with the public.
Mayor Ray Morriss and the project’s designer, William Cochran, will provide updates on the project’s status, funding and design elements, and will discuss what the public can expect during pre-, during and post-construction phases.
“I’m very excited to share the artist renderings with everyone,” said Mayor Ray Morriss, “William Cochran has created a design that is equally beautiful and functional, and I cannot wait to see this come to fruition. The renovation project has been in the works for a long time and this just brings us one step closer.”
The public is invited to join this informative opportunity to learn more about our City’s future. The virtual event will stream live on the project’s new website, https://historiccumberlandcitycenter.com/, on Facebook,
https://www.facebook.com/cityofcumberlandmd and on YouTube, https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCgOGhSfCjpzAlBDo9eBxEww.
Future updates surrounding the project, news and events, timelines and construction progress will be available on the project website, https://historiccumberlandcitycenter.com/, which is expected to be fully launched by early summer.
