[ARCHIVED] EMERGENCY SHUTDOWN: 24" water main break on Decatur Street

The City of Cumberland Water Department had an emergency shut down due to a 24" water main break at Decatur and Frederick Streets.

The surrounding area of Decatur Street is affected at this time as our tanks are being drained.  Once the crew gets valves turned down and the tanks build back up, some out of water or experiencing low pressure may be back in service but others will still be affected with an outage and an updated press release will be published.

We apologize for the inconvenience and thank you for your patience while the crew works to repair the problem.
Thank you,
