Round 5 Surplus Property Sale
Following are City-owned properties available for purchase. All are being considered candidates for rehabilitation. A report from the MD Department of Assessments and Taxation (SDAT) is included for each parcel. Please note that land values and improvement values are listed separately on the SDAT report. It is the responsibilty of the bidder to verify that their intended use of the property would be permitted.
Interested bidders must obtain a bid packet from the Department of Community Development, 57 N. Liberty Street, Cumberland, MD, 21502, either by phone at 301-759-6442, or email to email@example.com.
Requests for information (RFI) for the explanation or clarification of any point not sufficiently covered by existing documents must be submitted in writing to Kevin Thacker, Code Compliance Manager, 57 North Liberty Street, Cumberland, MD 21502, or through email to firstname.lastname@example.org. The cutoff for submittal of RFI’s is 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday, August 31, 2022.
Bids will be received at the Office of the City Clerk, 57 N. Liberty Street, Cumberland, until but not after 2:00 p.m., local time, on Wednesday, September 14, 2022. Proposals will be opened and read at 2:30 p.m. on that date in the City Hall Council Chambers.
